@carly_defranco The Angels, circa 1981 with Doc out front. Standing at the edge of the stage, feeling it as much as hearing it. Permanently etched into memory. 🙂
Countless sex workers have been locked out of their accounts and forced to provide phone numbers to regain access. Providers are worried this is the first step in potentially devastating changes to Twitter's TOS:

@thiscassgirl I believe "mal" is Ye Olde English pronunciation. I'm pretty sure I recall hearing British TV commentators (perhaps during one of the royal weddings) saying "the Mal" in reference to The Mall in London/
@busty_bella We have this in a limited way in NSW. Not many of these machines around, but you can take it as a voucher to exchange for cash or apply to your shopping at Woolies, pay it into a Paypal acct or donate it to a selected charity. Each bottle is worth10c
@AvaGraceVIP It's obscene that they can brag about how much they've raised so quickly for this tosser when a fundraiser for that Singleton family which tragically lost 3 kids has only managed to pull $160K so far.
Priorities.....
Dear sex work clients,
Can we just stop with the "some are only in it for the money!" bullshit?
Sex work is work. Would you do your job if you wouldn't get paid? Does that make you bad at your job?
No it doesn't. Sex work is work. Stop whining and get your wallet out.
If you're not supporting sex worker led groups, may I suggest you change your mind and do? They are the ones calling out the incarceration of migrant women, dealing with harmful legislation daily and addressing the CONSTANT lies said about it. Respect sex worker groups 👍☂️
@VIPMcpherson In some places (Queensland Australia) "just asking" is actually a criminal act. On the flip side, entrapment is real in Qld and police may legally ask for such services and arrest a provider if the answer is in the affirmative.
