Learning and sharing as I go. So excited I got to talk about and continue highlighting the experiences and histories of nurses that have been overlooked. Super grateful for the past and present day scholars and nurses who have shared their works and pieces of their lives with us.
When your class readings for the week include an article by Dr. Vanessa N. Gamble AND you get to hear her speak as a panelist on the "Black People, Health, and Wellness: A Historical Perspective" panel. Safe to say it's been a good Tuesday. @ASALH#MedicalHumanities#BlackHealth
Today's Nurse You Should Know is Brittany Sims-Cole BSN, RN. She is owner of Nurse B Legal, where she provides services as a legal nurse consultant. While not all-encompassing, her journey began as an LPN where she worked as a correctional nurse. https://t.co/Kb9BTGwHIa
