I have a family in Florida, Ohio, and a daughter in Wisconsin. I live in Texas. One two week time period I did the 12 hour drive to FL , 16 hours to OH, 12 hours to Wisconsin, and 20 hours back to Texas round trip to do the family visits. Gotta love a good old American road trip!

It’s pretty normal. We value our 2nd ammendment rights here in our country. Also, it’s a great hobby. There are indoor and outdoor shooting ranges…and various hunting seasons throughout the year…deer, squirrel, quail, elk, etc. depending on what part of the country you’re in. plus down here in Texas, we have coyotes and wild boar too. And then you get into the …it’s nice to have on hand for protection. So.. yeah…we actually do own them. It’s not a myth
