Old schemes with new, catchy names.

"Jan Dhan Yojana" is the old Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account

"Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana", is essentially the Indira Awaas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana is the Accelerated Irrigation Benefits Programme.

About such initiatives he speaks with confidence from the Red Fort.

He gives you numbers.

He tells you how many Jan Dhan accounts were opened.

How many redundant laws were repealed.

How much grain was produced.

How much ration was distributed.

He speaks confidently about these things because almost all the work was done before he came on the scene, and when the schemes had different names.
