I have written to Shri @ianuragthakur Ji regarding the Oppenheimer Movie.

The movie Oppenheimer contains a scene which makes a scathing attack on Hinduism.

In the said scene of the movie, a woman is shown making a man read the Bhagavad Gita aloud while engaging in sexual pleasure. Such a portrayal is deeply offensive and disrespectful to the sanctity of our sacred scripture. It not only hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus but also promotes a narrative that is entirely contrary to the profound teachings of the Gita.

The Bhagwad Geeta is one of the most revered scriptures of Hinduism. Geeta has been the inspiration for countless sanyasis, brahmacharis and legends who live a life of self-control and perform selfless noble deeds.

Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) failed to identify and address such morally inappropriate content in the movie. This lapse on their part is deeply regrettable and demands serious attention.

I have requested the Minister to interfere to remove objectionable portions depicting Bhagavad Gita in the movie.
