Meet Lieutenant Colonel Anuj Chandra Shrivastava: The Para SF Officer Driving India’s Indigenous Combat Parachute Revolution 🇮🇳
Lieutenant Colonel Anuj Chandra Shrivastava, a serving officer of the elite Parachute Regiment (Special Forces), stands at the forefront of India’s defence self-reliance movement. Blending frontline operational experience with deep technological expertise, he has led the development of India’s first fully indigenous combat free-fall parachute system — MCPS “Hans” — a breakthrough that significantly strengthens the nation’s special operations capability.
With a distinguished career that includes service in Para SF and a key tenure at DRDO’s Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE), Lt Col Shrivastava identified critical gaps in India’s dependence on imported high-altitude parachute systems. Turning this challenge into an opportunity, he conceptualised and spearheaded “Hans,” an end-to-end combat free-fall solution tailored for covert, high-altitude missions.
The system has already completed over 200 successful trials and achieved a major milestone with a combat jump from 32,000 feet — setting a new benchmark for operational capability. Fully indigenous, “Hans” integrates advanced components including bulletproof helmets, oxygen systems, thermal gear, precision parachutes, and NavIC-based navigation, ensuring complete autonomy from foreign technologies.
Beyond this landmark innovation, Lt Col Shrivastava has contributed multiple defence solutions such as “Kit Aadi” for safer night jumps and “Kit Shaambhawi” for humanitarian relief, alongside holding 12 patents — marking him as one of the Indian Army’s most prolific innovators.
Awarded the Technical Excellence Award by ARTRAC in 2025 and recognised by senior military leadership, his work is not just technological progress — it is a strategic leap for India’s military preparedness and Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.
Lt Col Anuj Chandra Shrivastava represents the new-age Indian Army officer — a warrior, innovator, and nation builder — shaping the future of defence with indigenous strength and global standards.
@DefenceMinIndia The plight of disabled male officer cadets during training will go unheard as usual because they are not a dedicated vote bank to you ?
Why this double face of Modi government ?
Till when are you planning to keep them in limbo ?

@SumitkadeI No post or tribute to Col Babu on his birthday.. They make Bollywood masala on Valour & sacrifice of Our Real Heroes .shameless & spineless! SKF & ALF! All are ghatiya samosa eaters.
@SumitkadeI @ArindamSahu28 What happened to your super hero Salman.. no post or tribute to Col Babu on his birthday.. on whose name he is going to make money.. shameless & spineless SKF & Apoorva Lakhia.
@Priyaa_Purohit Yes! Pappu aur unke khandaan ka naam ro ro kar jo desh ka pappu bana kar hass rhe, hai unka kya? They need to be weeded out too!
#RaGa#CallForChange
@ArindamSahu28 @0007rah@SumitkadeI A carefully curated image, even one built around philanthropy, doesn’t erase allegations of road rage or wildlife huntin.Generosity loses its sheen when it feels like reputation management rather thn accountability. I rest the case. Good Bye!
@ArindamSahu28 @0007rah@SumitkadeI Silence in this case,is wise. There’s plenty that could be said about his past remarks, but amplifying them serves no purpose.
@SushilS27538625 Aise hi apne farz se disabled, farzi disability pension lene walon ke karan asli disabled faujiyon ke against govt apne disabled decisions jari kar rhi hai jis-se original beneficiaries are suffering.

This is the release medical board report of Gen. Deepak Kapoor before his retirement. On the eve of his retirement, he was declared disabled due to hearing issues. At that time, he was the chief of army staff. While he might genuinely have a hearing problem, the concern here is his potential unethical conduct. Had he disclosed his disability earlier, he might not have become the chief. The benefit? His entire pension became tax-free. Not only him, but other senior officers also claimed similar advantages. Nevertheless, the real losers are the JCOs, jawans, and officers lacking influential connections. The focus should be on ensuring transparency in the process, not on withdrawing disability pensions.
@ArindamSahu28 @0007rah@SumitkadeI Salman has never paid a penny to Army welfare, neither has he evr appreciated any ops conducted by the army. He could have done so by meeting the galwan heroes before makin the film.I'm nt a Salman hater but hate such high headed hypocrites. Anyways,he is no good to man or beast.
@ArindamSahu28 @0007rah@SumitkadeI How do u know that the actor met for the movie and not for any personal concert discussions,u should be wise to know that the officer's at MoD have the authority to sanction clearance & not the minister. Why did he meet minister & not MoD?Clearly reflects back channel approach.
@ArindamSahu28 @0007rah@SumitkadeI FYI ,MOD has not given any clearance for the movie . Merely meeting Rajnath singh doesn't justify the liberty to make military based movies without proper protocols & NoC from the MoD.
@ArindamSahu28 @0007rah@SumitkadeI That is the problem.. they just mint money from the stories of valour & sacrifice of the real heroes.. they don't name it as biopic as they have to share the profits with them.. FYI they haven't got any clearance from MOD
@ArindamSahu28 @0007rah@SumitkadeI I knew Col Babu he never gave such expressions, the book is narration given to Rahul singh and shiv aroor (the authors) by someone dear to me. Just that he is Salman every crappy thing shouldn’t be justified.
@SumitkadeI If it's a film on real heroes,y is there no real acknowldgmnt,no names, not even a name tag on the uniform?
Making movies without consent from martyrs’ families & profiting off their sacrifice feels less tribute & more a marketing gimmick
Callin it Galwan doesn’t make it authentic
