NSE has a Gold Mine in Nifty Weekly expiry options. In FY26, out of ₹16600 Cr revenue, mega-earner was options which singularly generated ₹10000 Cr (60% of total revenue). However, this makes it vulnerable to SEBI's threats to ban weeklies & tinkering with lot sizes,margins etc

@KatariyaPran Similarly in investment management only certain acts are allowed and investing other people's money into derivatives isn't allowed. Neither as a broker, nor as an investment advisor. The only way to do is to create an AIF.

@KatariyaPran There are enabling provisions and disabling provisions. Investment management is a regulated area, so only certain acts are allowed. In a regulated area you need enabling provisions. Eg. Licensing Raj, you needed a license if you don't have a license that activity wasn't allowed
