@MrsPress You gotta do what you gotta do..... right!! 😂 the scary thing is that we feel we have to do things like that to protect our planet. Definitely a twilight zone!
@MrsPress Considering also that most of the oxygen we breath comes from organisms in the ocean & is generated by Ocean photosynthesizers that are indispensable to our survival, we have to turn the plastic tap off. If they weren’t around due to our pollution, we would not be breathing!!
@MrsPress & we continue to drive more virgin and recycled polyester & nylon products into our textiles & claim it’s saving the oceans! There is no plan. We can’t retrieve microfibres from our oceans, as they are simply too small. Time to turn off the plastic tap!
1.4 million people die each year from China's air pollution. With levels down in the last 2 months, Stanford scientists have found that the coronavirus has 'likely' prevented 77,000 deaths. Can we really just go back to business as usual? https://t.co/k4CO85mE8T
Interesting article @vogueaustralia however this still does not unpack organic cotton and potentially leads to more confusion. There is no mention about different soil types, different regions, different countries let alone different weather conditions?
Spinnova close up in pictures! We have a new #Instagram account, @spinnova_fibre, with fabulous new photos on everything from our raw material to fabrics! Go & follow! These visual treats were created by 20/20 Helsinki.
It amazes me how many brands have adopted the use of recycled polyesters and nylons and shout about saving the oceans when in fact the very materials they are using and increasing the use of contaminate our waterways and oceans! All we have done is shifted the conversation!
“The world’s largest financier of fossil fuels has warned clients that the climate crisis threatens the survival of humanity and that the planet is on an unsustainable trajectory, according to a leaked document.”
That’s quite an opening sentence 😳 https://t.co/YNAiEunlCm
@RawAssembly We asked the world to bring warmth to refugees this winter.

This is a brilliant step in getting the country working towards change and they could not have picked a better person as Sir David Attenborough to guide this! #proudtobebritish .... now Australia, lets get on and do something too @ScottMorrisonMP
So much needs to be done in this space. There are towns/ cities full of dead stock fabrics in china left over from global brands production, non of which can be identified to what the compositions are or what’s dyes have been used. We must #designoutwaste
