I have just bought a new Gaming PC. So could all manufacturers please stop selling any new parts for 18-24mths. Just so I can feel I might have the most up to date system I can afford. Thank you.

I know, I'll run dual monitors for gaming/editing, then the 65" or 120" for SIM Racing, and link this all up via the new KVM switch.

Anyone giving away a good RTX 4090 Super/Ti GPU??

Buying a new Gaming PC is a right pain in the derriere. Prebuilts all have rubbish MB's and the cost is always high because of the extortionate cost of the GPU. You end up with 75% of the PC you want, at 125% of the cost.

Cables Question:
Is it worthwhile investing in fancy cables; 16k DP. Or are the speed/quality/stability gains even noticeable?

I think it is. But others are saying it's all just marketing hype.

I'm looking at getting a new PC in the sales. Mainly for gaming, but also for photo/video editing and content creation. Min i7, RTX 4070 S/Ti, 16/32Gb and solid MB. All on a limited budget of around £1600. Prebuilt or Self build is fine.

@pcgamer Try making them easier to play. You used to be able to put on a game and play it. Now, you need to do a degree to learn all the buttons, options, charts, maps, etc. By the time you've done all that, the excitement and fun had gone. Budgets mean nothing it the game is poor quality
