A 110-year-old public bathhouse in Shibuya has been turned into "Snoopy no Yu" — Snoopy's Bath. Noren curtains, wall-to-wall graphics, comic panels above the washing stations, and a tub designed around Snoopy. Entry is the usual 600 yen, sauna another 550. PEANUTS teamed up with Sauna Ikitai, Japan's biggest sauna search service, and the merch is built for people who actually go: a sauna hat with Snoopy embroidered on the side, a sauna mat in the classic yellow-and-brown, a 1L bottle. Both the bathhouse and the pre-orders end August 31. Would you wear a Snoopy sauna hat?

Kanazawa is putting architect-designed benches into its streets from Aug 28 — carved by a chainsaw-wielding robot arm from cherry wood too twisted for any sawmill.
