सभी बहुत चिंतित हैं। सरकार को बात करनी चाहिए। सरकार नहीं करती है तो समाज को आगे आना चाहिए। सोनम के साथ-साथ छात्र भी अनशन पर बैठे हैं। कितने साल तक परीक्षाओं में चोरी और धांधली को यह देश स्वीकार करेगा। 13 साल बीत गए फिर भी परीक्षाएँ विश्वसनीय नहीं हो सकी हैं। बात केवल परीक्षा की नहीं है, पढ़ाई के मामले में भी जो नुकसान हुआ है, वहाँ से वापसी करना संभव नहीं है।

इसी अवसर पर गंगा की सफाई और अविरलता को लेकर प्रो जी डी अग्रवाल के अनशन को याद करने की ज़रूरत है। 2018 में 109 दिनों के अनशन के बाद उनकी मौत हो गई थी। तब काफी सवाल उठे थे। मीडिया की पुरानी रिपोर्ट आप देख सकते हैं। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को तीन तीन पत्र लिखे। उन पत्रों को निकाल कर पढ़ सकते हैं। गंगा के लिए प्रो जी डी अग्रवाल ने जान दे दी और गंगा के नाम पर राजनीति करने वालों ने उन्हें भुला दिया। गंगा की समस्याओं का समाधान करने के बजाए गंगा के घाट पर आरती का आयोजन कर लोगों के सवालों की धारा मोड़ दी गई। अच्छा होता कि प्रो जी डी अग्रवाल को सुना जाता, गंगा भी साफ होती और तब उसके किनारे आरती की शोभा और दिव्य होती। जो मीडिया जंतर मंतर नहीं जा पा रहा है वह गंगा के नाम पर प्रो जी डी अग्रवाल के अनशन की कहानी के पन्ने फिर से पलट सकता है। गंगा के लिए तो बोल ही सकते हैं।

Day 17 of Sonam Sir’s Hunger-Strike.

He has started losing muscle mass and is in immense pain. Like everyone else, I begged him to end his fast.

He calmly replied, “Don’t ask me to end my fast. Ask the govt why they won’t even have a dialogue.”
