New lore drop:
"Nowadays, the Intergalactic Society of Interdependent Bowling Experts also known as ISO-IBE, strictly controls all bowling affairs in an effort to avoid any type of celestial giants engaging in celestial body bowling."

D&D's Sigil VTT looks pretty darn cool!
I do wonder how they'll monetize it though. In the D&D Direct, they said "get a free dragon", which implies that other dragons will not be free. It would be sad to have to buy each creature individually.

Also, try to allow peer to peer connection or even privately hosted servers whenever possible, so the game you made with blood, sweat and tears can live on after you shut down official servers.
Hot take that shouldn't be hot:
A multiplayer game is not dead if you have enough people to play with. There could literally be 3 other people and that would be fine if you are having fun.
A singleplayer game cannot be considered dead. You only need yourself.

This just arrived 🎉🧙♂️
So You Want To Be A Game Master by Justin Alexander.
Well, I already am, but I still have a lot to learn, so I'm sure it'll be a good read!

@heyitsMattyP There is also no one stopping you from continuing with your current rules (be it 5e or something else).
If I were to change, I would personally wait until more *stuff* is out.
Unless you want to be an early adopter, there is little value in joining from the get go.
@Warlockdnd Also, if it's your campaign some other crazy sh** could happen. Doesn't necessarily have to follow the 10 feet rule, if there is no way for the PCs to know this trick without players metagaming.
It's about what would be fun at the moment, but also giving a win to the players.
@Warlockdnd There are many ways to allow it and still have a boss fight.
A couple:
1. They put the bag in the other bag next to the boss = all gets send to Astral Plane
2. They throw or shoot one bag into the other next to boss = Boss goes to Astral Plane...
... and PCs end up there later.
@tha_rami I agree with everyone else that those last 5 words would make for a great studio name.
Otherwise: Is "New Game Studio" taken? If it is, you can always go "New Game Studio+".
By the way, 2 years might be a good time for that balance, not saying it isn't. But I see some replies stating that a few months might be a good idea, and that just sounds like a terrible idea from the developer's standpoint in general.
There are reasons for waiting, sure.
You want hype... but for indies you need a following, which means you need lots of content.
As an indie dev, all you're doing is dev. So you share what you develop or you share nothing really.
Sharing something for follows seems better.
For Elder Scrolls specifically... Well it's Elder Scrolls. It will sell like hotcakes regardless, and it gives people a reason to stay engaged, keep awaiting, even if Starfield was not their thing.
