You are a disgrace to the Federal Republic of Somalia. Your recent public statement falsely accusing the former President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, of interfering in the internal affairs of South-West State is nothing but a desperate, lying smokescreen issued by a man who has no legitimacy, no dignity, and no right to hold any public office whatsoever.

Let me be crystal clear and undiplomatic: you are Mr. Incompetent, the Turkish SPY. You were imposed as Minister of Defense by the current President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud under direct orders from the Turkish government - a brazen and unconstitutional violation of Somalia’s sovereignty and internal affairs. You have zero educational qualifications. You have zero professional experience except your documented history as an active member of Al-Shabaab. You were never fit to serve as Minister of Defense, and you are certainly not fit to serve as Minister of Ports and Maritime Transport today.

During your tenure as Defense Minister you systematically looted funds and food aid supplied by American taxpayers. You personally diverted defense contracts to the family of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and to your own relatives. This is grand corruption on a scale that has endangered the lives of Somali soldiers and civilians alike.

Worse still, you continue to act as a foreign agent. You were trained by Turkey and you routinely share every decision taken in Cabinet meetings and every sensitive dealing of the Federal Government with the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Arab countries. You are currently in direct communication with Al-Shabaab elements. You are actively facilitating the illegal movement of weapons, equipment, and ammunition - paid for by U.S. taxpayers - from Lower Shabeele to Buur Hakaba. This treasonous activity directly endangers the security of the United States military base in Baledogle and constitutes a clear and present threat to Somalia’s national security and to our international partners.

You have the audacity - the sheer gall - to attack the record of President Farmajo, a leader who restored dignity to the Somali state, built strong government institutions, professionalized the military, delivered economic growth, and practiced good governance with zero tolerance for corruption. You, a former terrorist and current foreign spy, dare to lecture him? Look in the mirror, Minister Jama. The horror staring back at you is the face of betrayal, incompetence, and criminality.

You, together with the Minister of Livestock, the Speaker of the House of the People, the Ambassador of Somalia to Tanzania, and Senior Advisor Hussein Sheikh Mohamud, have directed, funded, and orchestrated atrocities against the innocent citizens of South-West State. You falsely claim that “no one other than citizens of South-West” are involved. This is a blatant lie. These crimes were ordered from the highest levels of the current administration. You were all promised that one of you would be installed as the next President of South-West State so that you could rig the election of the 77 members of the 12th Parliament. You will not succeed. The people of South-West State will never accept your blood-stained puppets.

If a single drop of blood of any South-West State citizen is spilled as a result of your actions or the actions of your co-conspirators, I, as a Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of the People, swear by Almighty Allah that I will deploy every resource at my disposal to file formal complaints of crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the United Nations Human Rights Council. You and the most corrupt President in Somalia’s history - whose term expires on 15 May 2026 - will spend the rest of your lives in small prison cells, side by side, answering for your crimes.

You have no defense, no honor, and no future in Somali politics. Resign immediately. Step down before the full weight of Somali and international law comes crashing down on you.

This letter constitutes formal notice. Any further interference in South-West State affairs or continuation of your criminal activities will be met with unrelenting legal and parliamentary action.

No apology. No compromise. No mercy.

#UPDATE: Gulf Cooperation Council Declares Ethiopia Has No Role in Red Sea Security

The Gulf Cooperation Council (#GCC) has formally stated that Ethiopia holds “no role” in maritime security operations in the Red Sea region. According to GCC leadership, security frameworks in the #RedSea are reserved for littoral and coastal states, thereby excluding land-locked #Ethiopia from participation.

The GCC’s clarification arrives amid rising diplomatic tensions and competing regional interests over Red Sea access and control. Ethiopian government officials have previously asserted strategic interests in securing maritime access. However, coastal neighbours—including #Egypt and #SaudiArabia—have rejected Ethiopia’s involvement, stating that only states that border the Red Sea have rightful involvement in governance and security of this vital corridor.

The GCC’s statement marks a clear diplomatic line: Ethiopia’s ambitions in Red Sea affairs are not recognised under the current regional security architecture.
