The thrill of victory! Lisa and I want to thank everyone who came out to JW’s Patio last night for the watch party. Six months of burning up miles in HD 21 has brought us to this moment and I wouldn’t have gotten here without the support from so many great Texans.

Sadly, the thrill of victory doesn’t last long when there is work to do. We have a strong slate of conservatives on the ballot this November, and we all need to be working together to Keep Texas Red. I will continue meeting with voters, business owners, and community leaders to understand the challenges facing communities across HD 21. I will also be working with stakeholders across the district to develop policy solutions that we can file even before I am sworn in.

Thank you to everyone who made it to our Get Out The Vote event Wednesday with Governor @GregAbbott_TX and local conservatives. It was a great crowd, and everyone is fired up this Primary Election.

We’re working on building a big coalition of conservatives to beat back another attempt at a Blue Wave this November. But first, we need to finish strong in this Primary Election. Early voting continues through Friday, Feb. 27. Election Day is March 3.

Property tax relief is top of mind for many Texans. As your next state representative, I will support bold policies that deliver lasting and meaningful property tax relief.

That includes forcing local governments to cut spending to authorized use and empowering all taxpayers, not politicians, to set the tax rate. The key piece will be cutting state spending to eliminate school property taxes statewide.

Great morning in Buna, where we gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the Mindworks STEM Lab in the Buna Public Library.

Since last June, Eagle Scout Brayden Evans has invested over 600 hours putting together a lab that gives young Southeast Texans a place to learn, grow and develop skills for a successful career. Congratulations Brayden, and thank you to everyone who pitched in to make this a reality.

Honored to be endorsed by Charter Schools Now PAC, an organization dedicated to innovation and expanding public education opportunities across Texas. HD 21 thrives on talent because of the many industries that call SE Texas homes.

Charter Schools offer a great alternative for parents seeking a different education pathway for their children. I am grateful for the work of charter schools across the district to offer opportunities in the public space, and for using this model to drive innovation in learning.

Wrapping up a busy day traveling Orange County. Enjoyed meeting with local officials, voters, and community leaders at Commissioner Chris Sowell’s meet & greet. Thanks to Commissioner Sowell, Mayor McClendon, and Lucy’s Cafe for hosting us.

Next, I joined a packed house at the Vidor Chamber of Commerce Banquet. It’s encouraging to visit with so many business owners and leaders in Southeast Texas. Our small businesses are what holds our communities together and make our region stronger.
