18/3/1981..The big games keep coming as @LFC complete the double over CSKA with a 1-0 win in Sofia to progress to the semi finals of the European Cup!! @England number 1 @RayClem1 is unbeatable on the night thwarting the Bulgarians time & time again .. a magnificent display!

Alan Kennedy controversially opens the scoring for @LFC but in the 119th minute @WestHam have a free kick.. Stewart’s thunderbolt brings a wonder save out of @England No 1 @RayClem1 perfectly described by the iconic BBC radio commentator the late great Peter Jones.

14/3/1981... It’s a pulsating League Cup final as both teams go close but the game is goalless after 90 minutes due largely to the fact there are two outstanding goalkeepers on display at Wembley.... Phil Parkes of @WestHam and of course @RayClem1.. @LFC and @England’s number 1!!
