This weekend the team traveled up to Wayne State College in Nebraska for the Southwest Conference Championships 2026. The team finished in 10th place overall, and was the 8th best club team at the event.

We took the mat at home this weekend against LSU and Auburn, notching two dominant dual wins.

@jimbuesgens @CPyles8 As for your concern about the referees getting input on, or having their performance evaluated, (I could be wrong about some of the higher stakes events, but ik it is the case at national duals, regionals, and Fargo) they get evaluated at the end of each day by the mat leader

I met Kamal in the weigh in line at Senior Nationals in 2023.

My first senior level event, and I was there on my own, no team, no coach. The whole time I was there, every time I ran into Kamal, he'd check up on me, offer tips, etc.
