So am I, though perhaps not for the reasons you might think.

I am grateful because I was given a glimpse behind the curtain. I saw Russia’s judicial system from the inside, experienced its propaganda machine firsthand, and witnessed how narratives are manufactured, enforced, and broadcast to the world.

It is not knowledge I ever sought, but it is knowledge few people will ever have. Because of that, I can explain what many could never fully understand, nor be expected to.

For that, I am truly grateful. 🙏
