SAPS. Why Are We Not Worth It?

We the people sign our employment contract.
We do not say quietly, ’Now I’ll run my personal company. Who will ever find out?"

We are not scheming to knife our employer, suppliers and staff that work in our company.

What happened to Team Blue?

They placed hand over heart and said,
‘I swear that I will….’

Swear. Make a true, solemn and binding promise to you my beloved South African.

‘I swear I will be guided by the needs of the community.’

We the people go to work.
Hand over the PAYE.
Us grateful bunch pay SAPS a salary, finance their uniform, half their pension and most of their private medical aid.

What do they do?

Open a taxi business, wander off procedures for Medicare24 tender, and then:

The Madlanga Commission.

We wept.

Where does this culture come from?
Who's teaching SAPS this?

As we lock our doors at night we pray for

At what point did South Africa become unworthy of SAPS’s oath?

There is a massive anti-migrant protest in South Africa right now and I have not seen anyone in the media covering it!

What do you notice about the protestors?

These are black Africans who are tired of migrants coming in from other parts of Africa and draining the system.

They frame their actions as “putting South Africans first,” demanding stricter border controls, mass deportations, and enforcement of immigration laws. Signs commonly seen include “NO TO UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS”, “Go Home”, “FOREIGNERS STOP!!!”, and “MABAHAMBE”.

No wonder the mainstream media doesn't want you to see this!

I think the message is a good one, but as with most of our leadership, talk is one thing. Action is another.

You see, when South Africans are asked to rely on the very same institutions that have crumbled, it inspires very little faith.

Like this video, for example. How far have our institutions crumbled for a man to so brazenly pose on social media, wielding a firearm while delivering such a message?

Our Firearms Control Act makes provision for the ownership of firearms for self-defense, hunting, and sport shooting. Nowhere can one obtain a license to threaten people.

He's given you his name and clearly stated his intent.
While his message was meant to intimidate, it really only achieved showing South Africans that people do not fear the law.

In any other country, this man was arrested 5 mins after the video went live and placed in a mental institution.
