@ChiSoxFanMike No one knew that rule, I’m willing to bet no team would have known that rule. This doesn’t change the fact that the Sox didn’t hit today, but the fact is the California rule should have never been implemented, there would be none of this bullshit.
@ChiSoxFanMike Yes, La Russa is doing everything he can to mix guys in and work with the current injuries he has right now. There are things that are out of his control and are more on the players such as errors, lack of hitting, and mental mistakes. No eloy, Tim, and Engel has a real impact.
@whitesox@NBCSChicago@ESPN1000@Wintrust Not a bad lineup with, it’s best to give moncada a day off. You can tell at his plate appearances that he’s not seeing the ball well and best to give him a day to collect himself rather than to keep playing him.
@whitesox@MLBNetwork I don’t understand why people are freaking out it’s the best time to experiment with lineup changes in spring training so your not toying with the lineup in the season. It’s good to try new things and see how to incorporate everyone especially with the lose of eloy.
Folks, we've significantly slowed the spread of COVID, getting our positivity rate down to 2.8%. And now, we can begin to safely welcome fans back to our baseball stands on opening day. Although we’re reopening, masking is still of utmost importance. 😷⚾
