"For nothing in the world is it worth turning one's back on what one loves. Yet that is what I'm doing, though why I do not know" Dr. Rieux

Although I am happy with my decision to stay in Oran and help try to end the plague, these words are forever engraved into my mind...

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

It is nice to use social media to see that there are other people feeling the same way that I do! #connectingourstories

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

@THEE_Lord_God that's right! But then your guidance of others and myself helped me to see that I belong here whether I want to or not!

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

@THEE_Lord_God @Cain_iGetABreak "There's so much wickedness in the world, what can you expect?" and this is when I realized I had to help!

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

@THEE_Lord_God @Cain_iGetABreak this reminds me of when the old lady that made me reconsider my decision to leave said...

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

@THEE_Lord_God so you're saying the plague was not to punish us? I guess it did teach me a lot about myself. #thankfulisurvived

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

@Cain_iGetABreak @THEE_Lord_God I am drawn closer to God,he showed me what it is to care about fellow humans! We share a collective destiny!

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

@Cain_iGetABreak @marj_satrapi an old woman asked me if i believed in God, & when she said no, she said "that explains it" why i was leaving

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

@Cain_iGetABreak @marj_satrapi Yes! i remember all too well when God's presence influenced my lifechanging decision...

[Raymond Rambert @RayRamWrites]

I never thought that I would chose to stay in a disease-ridden town rather than go back to my love... #myplanvsGodsplan
