@AskPS_UK Sure, thanks for the help. One last question though, since I'm living in Tanzania at the moment, I can't find a support line for this region. Do you know what number is the best to contact/will I face any region charges by calling another country's support line?

@AskPS_UK I have a UK psn account, and just moved countries & bought a brand new PS4. I've been trying to log in, but kept getting this error: NP- 38496-0. I tried to switch off the PS4, changed my account password etc, then I got a similar error: WS-44949-0. Any help?

@AskPS_UK So I tried all the steps on the link you sent. (E.g. Bringing router closer, turning off other devices etc.). I also tried one other thing I saw, which was to change the DNS server to Google (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4), which didn't help. I also updated the ps4 to the newest version.

@AskPS_UK Thanks for sharing this, but I tried all the steps here, yet nothing worked. I've looked everywhere online for a solution to this error code but can't find anything! I feel this is more to do with the region perhaps? I live in Tanzania, but use a UK account...
