42 years, and the melodies of the genius Ilaiyaraaja Sir still resonate just as powerfully. Pallavi Anu Pallavi marks 42 years, but the music remains timeless.

Mariyam Shiuna is the deputy minister of youth empowerment, information and arts in Maldives.

[Shikhar Dhawan @SDhawan25]

It's disheartening to witness a government minister's negative stance towards India, labeled as a 'personal opinion.' Condemning such behavior and calling for a diplomatic resolution to foster harmony between 🇲🇻 Maldives and 🇮🇳 India. #GlobalUnity #Maldives

My old video (2021) which is relevant for today's Maldives issue👇How @INCIndia Bigots went against the reforms of honorable @prafulkpatel ji.
Glad to see today Modi Ji's Lakshadweep visit turned into a tight slap to Maldivians - most joiners of ISIS terrorist than any other country. They used to beg water from us in 2014. Maldives is a highly insecure place for tourists. #VisitLakshwadeep

Why should Indians go to #Maldives and do "destination" weddings and do party ...with these people? @MaldivesFA @maldivianrc @visitmaldives .... #BoycottMaldives ...

[Akshay Kumar @akshaykumar]

Came across comments from prominent public figures from Maldives passing hateful and racist comments on Indians. Surprised that they are doing this to a country that sends them the maximum number of tourists.
We are good to our neighbors but
why should we tolerate such unprovoked hate? I've visited the Maldives many times and always praised it, but dignity first. Let us decide to #ExploreIndianIslands and support our own tourism.

A word of caution from congress’ own - on BBC @anilkantony says - “ why let a country which colonised us more than 200 years back use our differences and divide us ? This concerns me …. Am sure many seniors in the party who have been in government will agree with me”

[Anil K Antony @anilkantony]

Despite large differences with BJP, I think those in 🇮🇳 placing views of BBC, a 🇬🇧 state sponsored channel with a long history of 🇮🇳 prejudices, and of Jack Straw, the brain behind the Iraq war, over 🇮🇳 institutions is setting a dangerous precedence, will undermine our sovereignty.
