My administration remains firmly committed to the welfare of workers in Imo State. It is both a moral obligation and a covenant of trust that we have faithfully upheld through the prompt payment of workers’ salaries, benefits, promotions, and other entitlements. We have consistently matched our words with action in ensuring that the welfare of Imo workers remains a top priority.
I am therefore deeply honoured to receive the Pacesetter Award from Organized Labour. I appreciate the leadership of my brother, Comrade Joe Ajaero, who was ably represented at the occasion by the National President of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Aliyu Haruna Kankara. This recognition reflects the collective efforts of my administration in implementing one of the highest minimum wages in the country and in sustaining policies that prioritize the well-being of our workforce.
With the economic reforms and policy direction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which have strengthened the capacity of subnational governments with greater resources to deliver impactful governance, we remain resolute in our commitment to ensuring that the benefits of progressive growth are felt by the people of Imo State.
This honour further reinforces our dedication to responsible leadership and people-centred governance. As the engine room of government, our workers will continue to receive the motivation, support, and recognition they deserve.
- Hope Uzodimma
@Arewa_Source Just separation is the best, if we live in your land we will keep your laws for you while in your land. And in our own land you keep the rules of law. The one Nigerian is not working and can't work
@ARISEtv All Igbo politicians always course trouble in Igbo land just to be recognized in the federal, but remember those ESN are still around, get your armoured car ready in they decide to show up
Oh God our father!! The man that claim to be your prophet have blasphemer against the highly persecuted tribe in this country, from the same tribe that caused the 1967 coup and war and label it to Igbos, he has come again as usual, are going to let him go away
@dammiedammie35 Your days are numbered God is after you, your end is here. If you as a stupid hungry and influence seeker could step too low like this and talk like infidel, speaking against the economic power of Nigeria after seeing all that we passed through in this country,
