Since June 2026, World has quietly become the engine behind phantom's on-chain prediction markets. It's a non-custodial protocol that routes orders to liquidity providers on Solana, meaning Phantom never holds your funds or positions. You stay in full self-custody the whole time.

Order routing and market resolution run through Chainlink oracles. Previously, users had to manually claim winnings after a market ended. Now, payouts settle automatically the moment an event concludes, a real UX upgrade.

Prediction markets are exploding. Monthly volume grew from roughly $1.2B in early 2025 to over $20B by January 2026, with 840,000+ wallets now trading monthly. Chainlink's role is making sure results can't be disputed or gamed. It monitors conditions and settles outcomes 24/7, pulling data from multiple sources so no single feed failure can break a market.

He is making valid point, but it is harder for Nigerians and I'll explain.

A Chinese neighbour told my Dad she needed N2billion naira loan and wanted to know how she could access it. My dad told her to go to the bank. She said the interest rate was too high that she would rather fly to China to get it at 2%. That is N40m on N2b

How do you compete with that? Most Nigerians don't have that leverage.
