@8figureARR@yacineMTB Same. I also someone who would be a defender but regulatory capture to limit use is radically stupid.
It makes us less competitive on the world stage, it’s principally stupid, and I cannot believe the fear mongers won
@merlinaudio_@kimmonismus I agree. The moment the incentive is gone the development is gone.
On top of that we will no longer see any competition. It’s insane how the “right wing” party did this.
@gailcweiner Will we get to use it though? I’m in a deep learning group (for vision only though) and fable just refused to work on anything (even a gui for data labeling) so all of the fable talk is super bitter for me. Like I googled something and got told it was too dangerous to know
@MoonlitMonkey69@kimmonismus@areshawns Thank you. The idea that the freaking NSA has been using AI tools to test their security for the past 5 years is nuts. AI has been so confined to a bubble of people we forget that nearly no one outside of it uses it. For fucks sake just have the model patch the issues and move on
@francoisfleuret IMO just because computers are smart doesn’t mean we won’t have a labor demand. So long as we are imaginative and needy, we will find a human labor need. If two companies compete, and are equal in AI, the one that finds a place that requires human labor will win
@EsuEsuEsuuu@theMrHeadacheQ1 This is totally fair! I feel it’s more of a fundamental design problem. Like ghoul and legion are so close in design “be fast get initial injury fast” the only difference that turns D into A tier map traversal. IMO we need more depth, interactions with gens, power up modes, etc
@ThePrimeagen The way the lord intended, only to open le chat gippety app and speak words to technology. Catching the future train over here. CHOO CHOO
