They preserved and expanded the works of Greek, Indian, and Persian scholars, leading to major discoveries in algebra (Al-Khwarizmi), optics (Ibn al-Haytham), and medicine (Ibn Sina).

Without them and Al-Khwarizmi’s foundational work in algorithms, the technology you’re using to spread misinformation wouldn’t even exist.

The students of Bangladesh fought hard to down the dictator Hasina, sacrificing so much, even hundreds of lives. This was our second independence. But now, just 2-3 days later, I see some Hindu groups protesting on the streets, saying they’re being tortured.
Let’s be clear: yes, there were some fights and vandalism, and sadly, two people died. But most of the attacks were against Awami League leaders or members. I’m against any harm to anyone, no one’s life should be lost, and no one’s home should be destroyed. It’s terrible, But you’ve seen how Muslims were protecting Hindu homes and temples. They stood in front of your temple, staying awake all night to protect it.
Think about it-the government ran away, the defense forces left their posts, and some bad people took the chance to cause trouble. But if you look closely, most of the damage and deaths happened to Muslims.
New government has just started, and those who did wrong will be punished, but you need to give it some time.
Starting protests just one day into the new government’s rule makes it seem like you’re trying to mess up the peace on purpose. Your actions make it look like you’re working for India, trying to create chaos, just like India.
As responsible citizens you have to understand it, you’re making yourselves look bad. I won’t say much more, but here’s the point- Bangladesh is home to people of all religions. So please, don’t ruin the image of Bangladesh by spreading stories around the world that minorities are being oppressed.
