Deeply saddened by the demise of Bashir Ahmad, Vocational Trainer, District Kupwara. My heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, colleagues and loved ones; may Allah grant the departed soul Jannat-ul-Firdous and give the family strength to bear this irreparable loss. 🤲
I also urge the Hon’ble Education Minister @sakinaitoo and Worthy Commissioner Secretary, SED to sympathetically consider the genuine demands of Vocational Trainers who continue to serve the cause of education across J&K.

More than a decade of service, 6 months without salary and now a trainer is dead. VTs who built the future of J&K’s children are today protesting for their own survival. What kind of justice is this? How many more deaths before the govt wakes up? @CM_JnK@sakinaitoo@JKVTWA
@GreaterKashmir How many more deaths does the government need? Our Vocational Teachers have lost their lives due to frustration, stress and anxiety. Enough is enough. We demand justice for Vocational Teachers. They are in trauma and are being mentally harassed by the VTPs.

One of our VTs,Bashir Ah,died of a heart attack. He had been without salary for the last 6 months, battling severe financial strain while carrying the responsibility of his 3 children, his wife & his parents.
This is not merely a death, it is a brutal consequence of a failed system.
Tomorrow marks the 9th day of our peaceful protest.
9 days of struggle. 9 days of waiting.
Yet our miseries continue, and our genuine demands remain unheard. We are tired, but we are not defeated. Our silence has ended. Our resolve has not.@OmarAbdullah
