✨Career girl to career girl:✨
3 things to do differently in 2026:
1. Do hard things: Step outside of your comfort zone, do the things that scare you the most, be brave, write that certification exam, apply for that scholarship, ask for the promotion. If you don't try, you'll never know what's on the other side of your determination.
2. Be pro active and deliver
solid work, it will speak for you in your absence: Decide that this year, you'll be excellent, and it starts by doing things differently.
3. Organize & Document all work: Sometimes you don't know how much you have accomplished because you don't document anything. Be intentional about documenting your work, progress, processes and and accomplishments. You'll need them when you want to ask for that raise.
Which one of these will you be paying attention to in 2026 ?
Clear writing. Confident speaking. Active listening. These are core soft skills to build next year.
The truth? You likely already have them.
But how well you develop them can make or break your career.
For example, if you’re afraid of public speaking, you may struggle to advocate for yourself at work, sharing ideas, leading conversations, or asking for opportunities.
That’s why you have to be intentional.
Build these skills one step at a time.
Which of these skills will you be focusing on next year?

In class yesterday, we covered how SMART and atomic requirements are not just buzzwords.
They’re the way Business Analysts measure performance improvement in requirements quality, ensuring stakeholders actually get the outcomes they envisioned.
Requirements aren’t just notes on paper — they must be SMART and atomic: clear, measurable, and broken down so each one stands on its own.
That’s how you move from confusion to clarity as a Business Analyst.**
