🚨 #SaintsFC owner Dragan Solak on William Salt:
"I believe that our junior intern felt personally it's wrong, and he didn't feel right for doing this, and I think he should have expressed that stronger. I'm pretty sure that if [he had] come to us, the top management, actually it would be the seniors who would be punished, not him.
"I have a lot of pity. I'm sorry for what he had to go through. And we obviously would like him to stay in the club and we offered him a prolonged job with the club."

The Round House community hub & cafe, Walney Island. A long time ago it housed a Chinese restaurant. A favourite of me ma & pa. They use to enjoy a window seat watching the sun set on the Irish Sea, while tucking into a Sweet & Sour Mix.
Offer him a role as youth development initially, surely.
Only seems like yesterday when I watched his home debut 17/11/02. He came on as a sub in 2-4 defeat to Bolton.
👏 Following his retirement from football, everyone at Leeds United congratulates James Milner on an outstanding career and wishes him all the very best for the future
Visited Tyre in 23, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, & a UNESCO World Heritage site. A warm welcome everywhere, from a people just getting on with their lives as best they can. Now…… https://t.co/uB4UFe1Lui
I’ve got 7 liccle parking apps on my phone, needed for multiple locations. Tracing the holding ownership of these Apps (brands) right back - x4 Sweden; x2 USA; x1 Canada. We’re being rinsed in so many ways, & most of it flows abroad.
There is probably little that makes my p**s boil more than what that State is doing to that beautiful country & people. I’m pathetic really that I don’t do anything about it. Just hope the next PM stands up to the bullies & their funders. https://t.co/lmoQIyDQQL
Tony Blair is the living embodiment of what happens when political office becomes a down payment on future plunder. Ejected in 2007 by his own MPs as a massive liability, he bequeathed Britain a wild casino economy primed for the 2008 crash. And when the British economy crashed and burned, Mr Blair kept quiet while honing his skills at securing power by other means.
His first job, after his ejection from 10 Downing Street, was as the West’s Middle East envoy, with a supposed emphasis on Gaza. It took six painful years for Mr Blair’s tenure to prove a failure so profound it amounted to active complicity in Israel’s ethnic cleansing, in Palestinian erasure, and in paving the ground for the ongoing genocide.
Soon after, the Chilcot Inquiry demolished Blair’s Iraq lies, exposing him as a liar, a chancer and a war criminal responsible for countless corpses of Iraqis, but also of British soldiers.
Then came Blair’s real innovation: the financialisation of the ex-premiership itself. The Tony Blair Institute, fuelled by £130 million from Oracle's Larry Ellison—coincidentally, the largest individual donor to the Friends of the IDF—became a shadow state, brokering governance contracts for autocrats and companies like Palantir that weaponise AI to produce mega-death abroad and full-on surveillance of Western populations.
Now, in May 2026, this corporate fixer issues a 5700 word tantrum demanding that Labour embrace Trump even more than Starmer already has, denounce what is left of Labour’s betrayed Green New Deal, and trash the remnants of workers' rights. This is not the wisdom of an aging statesman. It is the frantic squirming of a man fearing his grip on oligarchic power might soon wane and whose entire post-10 Downing Street existence depends on preventing the many from ever reclaiming what the few have plundered.

‘A great day in Harlem’. A famous photograph of 57 adult jazz musicians of the era taken in 1958 in Harlem. The last adult person alive from the photo, Sonny Rollins, passed yesterday (at 95). The Stones recognised his brilliance, playing on tracks on the Tattoo You album (81).
Meanwhile……to put into context, it’s the proportionate equivalent land area of England of Cumbria, County Durham & North Yorkshire being invaded; with the populations of the West Midlands, greater Manchester & South Yorkshire being displaced. https://t.co/A0aaJyFXkL
We did our bit, but Everton let the country down today, & loathsome, unspeakable Villa playing a weakened team against Spurs & rolling over……never forgiven.
