the intro scene for pokemon movies are all generally samey, but the one for the 6th movie always really stuck with me. Something about the way its animated and its choice for the different scenes really resonates with me...

I keep seeing people saying "oh but PC is already all digital and no one complains about that"

because when games get delisted or taken offline on PC or in some cases never even released digitally, we can still play them through piracy, abandonware sites or fan hosted servers, (or a mix of them) which you definitely can't do on a digital only console.

So while it still sucks, it's not the be-all-end-all scenario like it is on console where the only option (would be) to get it physical

An example I guess is the Forza series which is notorious for having it's games delisted years on, like on Xbox, you want to play Forza Horizon 4, your only option is physical, if you really wanted to play it.
