If it wasn't for the dad getting out of his car, the son could have possibly been hit by other cars walking over to his car.

A routine day inside a Macy’s store at Baybrook Mall in Webster, Texas suddenly turned into a bold retail theft.

According to witnesses, a woman walked into the LensCrafters section and allegedly began grabbing expensive designer frames. One by one, she reportedly took 21 pairs of glasses worth more than $7,000 and walked out.

What she may not have realized…someone nearby was recording the entire thing using Meta smart glasses.

The video reportedly shows the woman calmly taking the items while customers watched in disbelief. By the time store staff realized what was happening, the suspect was already gone.

With smart glasses and cameras everywhere now…are criminals finally running out of places to hide? Or do they even care nowadays?
