@maximilian_ there is also an oem memory cartridge you can buy for cheap and save and load directly to that with, not all games support it but most do. worst case scenario with that is, you just copy your saves to it from the bios if the game doesn't support saving or loading from it
@maximilian_ i use a Gamer's Cartridge for saving to sd card, but you can also use save manager software to read and write saves to the mode's sd card if i recall
@jc_dcdev (1/2) i don't know if you've already decided too but could you keep the ability to hold a button on startup but have it boot into dreamshell from serial sd or ide mod, that way you don't have to choose between using a disc or just flashing dreamshell to the bios
@jc_dcdev (2/2) with the newly released ata express and picoide, more people will be trying an ide modded dc, it would be nice to have a stock bios look but still be able to boot dreamshell directly from ide for example, that would be so much better than what we currently have.
@jc_dcdev sounds good, i have a modded va0 with a gdemu in and your bios, a modded va1 with a gdemu in and a tripple bios pcb with your bios on it and a va2 which i'm waiting on an ata express board to arrive to install that in it and it also has your bios 😆 all done by me.
