@WatchfulEFT And that take, the very small population is purely from watching people queue into arena and not find matches for an extended period of time. And a ranking system that doesn’t at all make it worth grinding to get to a certain point.

@WatchfulEFT I have been playing/streaming tarkov since 2019 (14k hours). When arena first came out I was hyped because I loved csgo, so here was my chance to play a competitive game and get paid. I understand arena offers something to some people, but it seems to be a very small population

@airwingmarine Kinda shitty they built the hype for this current wipe with the rocket launcher. Then finally added the rocket launcher 4 months into the wipe when you could see it wasn’t really ready to be released. And it’s additionally shitty to hype up an “event” and that’s the “event.”

@tarkovtips @SophosSavant Yeah that would be cool. Find that grace period where people are past early wipe and combine the matches. But for some reason I feel like that wouldn't be something they would want to do. Sounds complicated. Or somehow something would get messed up lol

@tarkovtips @SophosSavant I totally get that. PvE..keep it no wipe. But Just saying having 2 separate servers for PvP is bad. Just splitting already what I would call a small player base. Cant make everyone happy..and in this case I think the people that dont want seasonal stuff should get the short end

@tarkovtips @SophosSavant Personally think seasonal is the way to go overall. I just don't see a world in which having more separate servers that promote no wipe ends well. I think it just potentially kills the game faster

@tarkovtips @SophosSavant From the people I have asked that enjoy PvE..they play it less and less as time goes on. And have not talked to one person that thinks they will reset the account. So I just feel like its catering to a player base that will dry up or only play when there is something new added.

@tarkovtips @SophosSavant I feel like taking such a fresh mode and asking how people feel about it..isnt completely fair. I would take their feedback more serious a year later...or two...not while they still have something to grind. How do those players feel after there is nothing left to do?

It's not on steam or anything so not sure how you are getting these numbers. And if that is true...then their matchmaking is terrible because I have been getting empty raids well before "end wipe."
