@GeoffreyMugford @ComfieDev that's a very clever way to approach it. i'm trying to also play with simplicity and straight forwardness but i've found myself stalled presently for other reasons. #gamerdevsblock?
@KSlazinski@elonmusk thanks, had no clue that existed. to slightly play devil's advocate: i could see "notability" being immensely subjective. it costing might open the playing field in the same way food having a price has fixed world hunger 😏
@KSlazinski@elonmusk ah okay thanks for explaining. was the criteria publicly available? was the blue check about if you were really who you said you were or something else?
@PluralGames i've been interested in doing a reaction time based dueling game like this but this variation of the mechanic blows anything i was going to do out of the water. bravo!
@KSlazinski@elonmusk im actually newish to twitter and was thinking about this the other day. as much as flagrant capitalism irks me, genuine question: how were blue checks given before and was there anyone notable with a blue check that couldn't afford $8/mo?
@CrazyRetroGame1 the time differential between finishing the game and releasing the game is crazy; especially in comparison to the time to go from blank page to something presentable.
