Elon Musk, the richest person in the world and co-founder of OpenAI:

"There will come a point where no job is needed. You can have a job for personal satisfaction, but AI will be able to do everything."

He did not say this on a podcast. He said it sitting next to the UK Prime Minister, at the first global AI Safety Summit. By his own estimate AI is getting five to ten times more capable every single year.

Mark Cuban says relax, employment is still growing, AI can't even do the basic. The man actually building the machine says the opposite. Not fewer jobs, zero jobs. Not a recession, the end of work itself.

One of them is an investor talking his book. The other is the one shipping the thing.

So who do you believe on jobs, the investor who says relax, or the builder who says no job survives?
