Trump was a bitter, sick, evil old man last night. Not too different than every other day. But it was an hour of vile meanness. Really the final curtain. He lost his composure because he had to first sit through people getting awards for telling on him. It really should be the end of him as any kind of power figure. If the press doesn’t take this as an opportunity, then they are truly in the pocket of a madman.
The few instances of actual investigative reporting that were celebrated were drowned out by the petty, vile tyrant the press has let metastasize into the greatest threat the country has ever faced. The dinner was bizarre in that it revealed more about how far The Fourth Estate has fallen, than how they have risen to meet the challenge.
I love how everyone is appalled at the very concept of arresting the President of Israel, like we didn’t black-bag the President of Venezuela earlier this year.
