In reality, the actual numbers could be significantly higher, as there is no accurate data from the occupied territories. Furthermore, thousands of Ukrainian children have been deported or forcibly displaced to the Russian Federation.
Today, June 4, marks the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression. Today, Ukraine honors the memory of children who have been killed as a result of the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine.
Since the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, at least 707 children have been killed, and another 2,548 have been injured. The youngest victim was just 2 days old β the baby was born and killed in a maternity ward.

The course is taught by officers of the Legal Support Department of the Ministry of Defence and the Central Legal Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On 18 May 1944, the Soviet authorities began the deportation of the Crimean Tatars from Crimea. People were forcibly displaced to distant regions of the USSR without the right to return home.
The official reason for the deportation was the accusation that the Crimean Tatar people had committed treason, engaged in the βmass extermination of Soviet people,β and collaborated with the Nazi occupiers.
