@alx Time to turn this against them. If you can't accurately predict the weather 10 hours from now then you certainly can't predict the global temperature 50 years from now
A soldier's face before and after the war: 1941 vs. 1945.
The man captured in the photos is Evgeny Stepanovich Kobytev. In 1941, he was a young man brimming with artistic aspirations. He had recently graduated from the Kyiv State Institute in Ukraine with dreams of becoming a painter who captures portraits and landscapes. However, his path took a drastic turn when Germany's invasion of the Soviet Union interrupted his artistic pursuits.
Kobytev's journey led him to the frontlines of the conflict. He participated in intense battles across Ukraine but suffered wounds in September 1941 that resulted in his capture as a prisoner of war. His captivity brought him to the confines of the "Khorol pit" prison camp (Dulag #160), a grim place where approximately 90,000 civilians, including Jews, and POWs lost their lives. Erected on the grounds of an old brick factory, the camp's sole barrack offered meager shelter. Those fortunate enough to secure a place inside endured cramped conditions akin to sardines in a tin. Despite the unbearable stench, it was preferable to the open elements that left them exposed and vulnerable.
For two grueling years, Kobytev endured the hardships of the camp until he seized an opportunity to escape. Upon regaining his freedom, he swiftly rejoined the army and dedicated himself to the remainder of the war. He valiantly participated in battles aimed at reclaiming German-occupied cities throughout Ukraine. This soldier's transformation from a young artist to a battle-hardened warrior is captured in the stark contrast between his countenance before and after the war: 1941 vs. 1945.

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.
A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.
Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

Hey @grok when Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas chose not to visit the White House in 2012, when Obama was in office, did the sports media cheer his principled stance or ridicule him for putting politics over country? How does it compare to US men’s hockey team coverage this year?
Dear Barbz, call your senators, then tweet #SaveAct to let me know you did it. Here’s a little video as a bribe to get you to do it. 😀
If you all do it, I’ll let you choose between a new look & Spaces. The choice is yours. 🎀
