I went to Oxford to sit down with @OleMissFB quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.
Rise to prominence. His coach leaving. Beating the Dawgs in the Sugar Bowl. Fighting the NCAA. Hell of a year.
In describing the emotion of the legal back-and-forth towards his sixth-year of eligibility, he said:
"It was like a slow death. Super long. A weight was lifted when it was finally cleared."
Our piece:
Special thanks to my CFP coach Pete Golding and squad for coming to the game! Wasn’t his first one either! Looking fwd to supporting our coach that has won a CFP game in the fall! 🇹🇹❤️💙 Let’s say goodbye to the past Rebs, just like I did after this!
Judge Robert Whitwell has ruled in favor of Trinidad Chambliss, granting a preliminary injunction.
This for all intents and purposes gives Ole Miss its quarterback for 2026. He offered it while getting emotional.
NEW: QB Trinidad Chambliss has been granted a preliminary injunction against the NCAA and is currently eligible for Ole Miss' 2026 season.

To every individual and organization who have aided and continue to aid in restoration efforts across our community, thank you.
Oxford is a special place because of the people in it. We are stronger together.
Forward Rebels.
