“13 crore people have lost their vote” sounds alarming. Until you look at what’s being added together.
Here’s the breakdown:

2.80 crore names recorded as dead
1.02 crore duplicate registrations
6.30 crore people recorded as having moved
3.01 crore people not found at their registered address
26 lakh entries under other reasons
A person who passed away, someone registered twice and someone who moved cities are hardly the same thing.
If someone moved and registered elsewhere, removing their old entry doesn’t mean they lost their vote. Removing a duplicate entry doesn’t mean another person lost theirs either.
But apparently, all these can be put in one basket and labelled “people denied their vote”.
There’s another detail: this is a draft. Eligible voters can still get their names included.
Quite a few details to leave out of such a dramatic headline.

Rahul Gandhi has been caught lying again and this time EC itself called out his lies very clearly before we did!

The Bihar SIR order was a collective decision. The order to conduct the special revision of Bihar’s voter list, issued on 24 June 2025, was approved by all 3 Election Commissioners. The Supreme Court upheld this order on 27 May 2026.

Lets also be very clear about Form 6. Form 6 is used to apply for inclusion in the voter list. For SIR, an additional declaration was attached to it to reconcile data from previous SIR with this SIR.

In its 26 September 2026 press note, ECI said the Supreme Court had upheld that attached declaration, not the modified form.

Looks like Rahul Gandhi's apology to SC after misrepresenting its remarks on CHowkidar Chor Hai, He will have to apologise to SC again for spreading lies on EC.

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.

Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.

I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.

He is a true hero.
