@DemonFramed The old guys that I work with are doing it for their grandkids. Btw I am not a boomer but I graduated with 30k in debt and a very low starting wage. I wasn’t able to buy much until I worked hard, got something better and met my wife so we had 2 incomes.

@mapleblooded My colleague is an immigrant. She didn’t get one either. My family are all immigrants who have lived here over half a century and I can assure you we have contributed. My wife is also an immigrant who has lived here as long as I have.
