Hey @WarcraftDevs @Warcraft,

World PvP doesn't need rated arenas or artificial ladder systems to thrive. It needs strong guilds, communities, and real open-world objectives. With #WoWForever coming up, here are 5 targeted API updates that would immediately reignite world PvP:

Verifiable Killing Blow APIs: We need native, server-verified KB and PvP kill tracking. AddOns like my Contested and lots of others already build zone control, guild rivalries, and RP-PvP quests, but client-side spoofing holds them back without verified data.

Objective-Based Zone Control: Features like Slayer’s Rise are neat, but they don't push guilds out into the world together. Dynamic contested zone control and raid-level WPvP quests would give groups a reason to actually fight over the map. API for this also.

External Web APIs (with Privacy Toggles): Exposing PvP events via web APIs lets communities build regional leaderboards, web hubs, and cross-guild rivalries off the client. A simple opt-out setting keeps data privacy in the player's hands.

Server-Registered AddOn Prefixes: Let devs register and verify AddOn comm prefixes at the server layer. This stops fake payload injections and drops junk traffic at the socket before it hammers client Lua state and wrecks frame rates in 40v40 fights.

API & Event Cleanup: Streamlining frame events, endpoints, and comm channels across the board will keep UI memory light and performance smooth during massive open-world clashes.

Central Server Comms channel for Xfaction, XRealm, XDatacenter. Real API communication for registered Addon Developers.

Give community devs clean, secure hooks, and we'll build the systems that keep world PvP alive.

WoW Forever gave us a Legacy system that pays out for stuff you were doing anyway, and campfires that hand out real buffs. Neither one tells you what's around you.

So I built two free addons for it.

Hated Legacy
• Shows which of the 65 Legacy challenges you can work on in the zone you're standing in
• Lists the ones closest to done across your whole account
• Star a challenge and it sits in a small tracker with the steps you still need
• Shows where every character's Legacy points went, tree by tree
• Account reward track progress and your PvP rank against this week's cap
• It only reads. Buying ranks stays in Blizzard's panel, so it can't touch your build

Hated Campfire
• Lists campfires shared by nearby players with distance, direction, objects and buff count
• Need one buff? Pick it and it jumps to the closest camp that has it
• Share your own camp with everyone nearby, guild and friends, or just your party
• Missing a tent? Post a request and someone can bring one over
• Pins on the world map and minimap, goes quiet in dungeons, BGs and combat
• Nothing it sends ever hits public chat
