This stunning English-language drama adapts Meir Shalev's celebrated novel ��The Loves of Judith,” weaving a mystery between 1970s NYC and a 1930s settlers' village in British Mandate Palestine. 🎶 Part concept album, part memoir, part immersive concert, Avi Amon’s 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿/𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 is a striking act of emotional memory. 💛 Using cassette tapes his parents carried when they immigrated from Istanbul in 1979, Amon crafts a moving musical meditation on family and grief, beautifully exploring how memory, much like an old tape, can warp, distort, and overwrite itself over time. 📼✨

𝗠𝗼��𝗵𝗲𝗿/𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 was developed with support from Reboot Studios, The Bushwick Starr, MacDowell, Mercury Store, New Jewish Culture Fellowship, New York Theatre Workshop and The Workshop.
