Among Neighbors just won a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award from @Kennedy_HRC.
Launched in 1969, the RFK Journalism Awards honor work that explores human rights, social justice, and the power of individual action -- the most prestigious award the film has received to date.
Chris Rock’s joke was in bad taste but Will Smith’s reaction was way outta line. Smith took the low road & clearly has personal work to do. His speech later was very moving but his apology was to the Academy, not to Chris Rock. And not to the world who saw him normalize violence.
