If Congress is going to ever be #ForThePeople, we must be accountable ONLY to the people. I’m proud to join @StopBigMoney in demanding we #EndCitizensUnited. Corporations aren't people, and it's time we made that clear. https://t.co/b0VUhPn96c
Antonio has already poured money into affordable housing for Brooklyn. In Congress, he’ll work to ensure all New Yorkers have a roof over their heads.
He’s the champion we need to fix this housing crisis.
Housing is a human right, which means it shouldn’t cost thousands of dollars to put a roof over your head in NYC. We live in the richest country on Earth, having dignified housing can’t be a luxury - it’s the basic standard. #NY7Debate
In one generation, @ReynosoBrooklyn went from a kid from Los Sures, Williamsburg on food stamps, living in Section 8 housing, to Brooklyn BP and now on the debate stage.
He is the definition of the American Dream and will carry this tenacity to the halls of Capitol Hill.
.@ReynosoBrooklyn will build on the progress we've fought for together and take our movement even further in Congress.
I'm proud to endorse Antonio as he steps up to lead the fight for working families, immigrants, and all New Yorkers in Washington.
Happy Dominican Mother’s Day! I was so happy to join my mother’s church today, along with @CuffhAction, @JenGutierrezNYC, and @ReElectNydia to celebrate and honor the incredible mothers in our community.
I’m here at Delaney Hall with community organizations like @MakeRoadActNY and @MakeRoadActNJ standing with immigrant families and advocates on the frontlines.
I’ve shocked the system before and I’m ready to do it again. Black women are eight times more likely to die in childbirth than their white counterparts. So in 2021, I invested my entire $45 million budget to address that.
Now I’m running for Congress to bring that kind of bold response to our federal government.
Let’s go! So proud to have the endorsement of @AbundanceNY. From the fight for congestion pricing to City of Yes to expanding bike lanes, we have always stood together to make our city more affordable, sustainable, and livable for all. I can’t wait to take those fights to Congress.
In Congress, I will make sure that Puerto Rico is a federal priority. The deep connection between New York City and Puerto Rico has shaped our city for decades. Uplifting Puerto Rican voices is essential to helping our community thrive.
Union power! We’re still feeling the energy from our incredible union rally this past weekend, even more so as we celebrate HTC’s and LIRR’s successful contract negotiations. I’ve always stood with labor, and I promise to do the same in Washington.
We’re so excited to share our Puerto Rico policy! I’m ready to fight to make sure Puerto Rico is represented and can have the resources it needs to thrive.
Labor was there for my family when I was growing up and it saved my life. That’s why I will show up every day in DC and fight for labor, our working families, and our right to organize. Thank you to the incredible coalition of labor unions that showed up today to rally in Queens.
Proud to endorse @JasminSanchezNY for AD 65. As an educator and champion for social, racial, environmental & economic justice, Jasmin knows how to organize, govern, and deliver for Lower Manhattan. She’ll be a powerful advocate for working families in Albany.
It feels right that Toñita’s birthday falls on Mother’s Day this year. To the matriarch of Los Sures, thank you for all you have done for this community. You are the reason so many people can stay in New York. ¡Feliz cumpleanos Tonita!
I’m proud to support @Brianr4NY for State Assembly District 34. Brian is a social worker with a record of fighting for working-class and immigrant communities. He knows how to organize, govern, and deliver results for Queens.

“Officers arriving at a scene where federal agents are already operating cannot be left to improvise. They need a bright-line rule... that informs them when to disengage, when to step back, when to refuse a request for assistance, and how to document what they observed."
Big Endorsement Alert: ✨Today, my heart is full of gratitude to receive the endorsement of Congresswoman @ReElectNydia@NydiaVelazquez
My parents migrated to New York from Puerto Rico carrying little more than hope, sacrifice, and the belief that their children deserved opportunity and dignity. Growing up on the Lower East Side, seeing Nydia Velázquez in Congress meant something deeply personal to families like mine. From 1993-2022, she represented Lower Manhattan with courage, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to working people, immigrants, Puerto Ricans, NYCHA residents, and those too often ignored by power.
As a young Puerto Rican girl from the projects, it mattered to see someone who looked like me in leadership. It reminded me that our stories, our struggles, and our communities belonged in the halls of power too.
Nydia’s legacy is not just one of representation, but of fighting relentlessly for justice, affordability, democracy, and the people of this city. I am honored by her faith in me, and I carry this endorsement with deep responsibility.
I will continue building on that legacy for Lower Manhattan, for New York City, and for New York State by fighting every day for working families, public housing residents, immigrants, youth, and all those who deserve to be seen, heard, and protected.
Gracias, Congresswoman Velázquez. Your example helped shape generations of Puerto Rican leaders, including me.
