We've partnered with UG Medical as our commercialisation partner for the NervAlign products in the Malaysian market.
UG Medical is an established medical device distributor with an extensive network across Malaysia, a market with a population of approximately 33 million people and a rapidly growing healthcare sector.
NervAlign received regulatory clearance in Malaysia earlier this year via the Medical Device Authority (MDA), and we are looking to launch our nerve conduit product later this year.
Commercialisation will be supported by our Asia sales and marketing team, and we will be a major sponsor for the hand surgery teaching event in Kuala Lumpur in June 2026.

New research continues to highlight the growing role regenerative medicine may play in peripheral nerve repair.
A recent peer-reviewed review published in Orthopedic Review (2025) explores how stem cell therapies, exosomes and related technologies could help address key challenges in peripheral nerve injuries (PNIs), including inflammation, scar formation and inconsistent functional recovery.
PNIs impact an estimated 2–3% of trauma patients, and traditional repair methods can still face limitations including scar formation, donor site morbidity, and inconsistent functional recovery.
The review highlights several promising areas in regenerative medicine for peripheral nerve repair, including the potential of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), MSC secretome and stem cell-derived exosomes to support regeneration and modulate inflammation. Adipose-derived MSCs (AD-MSCs) are also gaining attention for their accessibility, scalability, and regenerative potential.
