@SamHarrisOrg 1/3 I’m an ESL teacher on Jeju Island, Korea. Life here is pretty much normal - we get emergency messages about social distancing and public schools are closed but so much else is going on unchanged.

@SamHarrisOrg 2/3 I work at a private hagwon (academy) and there are many of these on the island. They seem to be a huge blind spot as kids are going about their after school lives the same as before - to my kind nullifying the value of closing the schools.
