@belladonnafeli I can relate. I’ve just finished Tawny man trilogy but it’s so worth it. Did that trilogy put me into a depression after the 1st and 3rd books? Yes, but I’d still never change that experience for anything. I do think being in the right headspace is needed for that trilogy though
@Lord______Snow Also, don’t feel like you need to read all 16 in a row. When I finish a trilogy I like to read one or two books that aren’t in a series to give myself a little break to avoid burnout, but the truth is that every time I finish one trilogy I’m already wanting to start the next lol
@Lord______Snow Farseer trilogy is where you start and it all is connected so it’s not recommended to skip anything. Since you’re such a big Jon fan I really think you’ll enjoy the main character Fitz. I’m only 9 books in but it’s my absolute favorite fantasy series ever.
@Aryastarkling_@car_a_carn42@belladonnafeli I think if you already like Hobb’s writing style you’ll really like the Liveship traders too. Plus it’s multi pov 3rd person which is a fun change of pace I thought. One of my favorite things about Liveship was looking for the connections between the series.
@Aryastarkling_ Hope you enjoy it! This is my favorite of the Farseer books and even after finishing Tawny man recently I still think it’s top 3 for me.
Finished piece. Vinland Saga - Arnheid. Was nice to get back to my favourite story and make another fan art for it.
Would be grateful for your support on Artstation:

@belladonnafeli I still like Jon to an extent, but I will say after reading Farseer and especially after Tawny man trilogy that Jon just seems like a less interesting Fitz to me.
@Rhllorism@dragonst0ned I’m sorry you have to deal with this. I can’t imagine how anger inducing it must be to deal with such horrific things in your life and then have to see people centering the feelings of those who caused that pain instead of the people who experienced it.
@Rhllorism Great thread as always. I think my favorite parallel between them is the way they both are so feared and hated by some and yet they continue to try their best to help people.
@dunksknappe No such thing as being too old. I started my degree at 24. Best advice I got was that you’ll be 24 either way, might as well get a degree. Plus at 24 you’re considered independent and can apply for financial aid.
@apaullling I met my group of friends in 2014 in destiny that I still talk to almost daily. It was the most random meeting too. I was by myself in the tower and just randomly started inviting the people there asking if they wanted to do the raid. One responded and I met the rest through him.
@nightraintolisb@car_a_carn42 Don’t do it! I know it’s hard to not jump right into the next Fitz trilogy but I promise the Liveship Traders trilogy is so worth it. And Liveships has very important lore reveals and reading it makes the next Fitz trilogy even more amazing.
