“Read it again? Ok. Read it again.”
Want a mirror on your parenting style? Just watch your child.
I love watching this little one role playing as her parents.
Nestled onto her little couch, her babydoll under her arm, she reads/sings to her baby.
But watch carefully and you’ll notice that the most telling parts come at the end of each verse as she imagines the baby asking for more.
“Okay… more? Yeah, ok.”
Can you guess who loves the repetition of favorite books? And whose parents gamely repeat them?
It’s a lovely window on her own parental relationships.
This doting “mom” was shared to IG by cmaphilips.
Our Program Specialist, Cate Belleveau, had a delightful time at the Bemidji Early Childhood Collaborative Tiny Tots Health and Wellness Fair!
Cate handed out hundreds of donated books and talked with dozens of families about literacy, learning, and pediatric care.
