Former Singaporean diplomat Kishore Mahbubani:
China has rescued 800 million people out of poverty — two and a half to three times the population of the United States. That's an amazing achievement.
When people say the Chinese people are not free, I ask a very simple question:
If the Chinese people are not free, why do over 130 million Chinese people leave China each year and then, using their own two feet, return to China every year?
HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE 🫨

The man whom nation failed. 🇮🇳
Imagine being 24 years old, sitting in a quiet room in Cambridge, holding a future of absolute power and wealth in your hands. Subhas Chandra Bose had just ranked 4th and was set to join the "Steel Frame" of the British Raj. But as he looked at the prestigious life ahead of him, he saw the chains of his countrymen.
On April 22, 1921, he chose a different path. He picked up his pen and wrote a simple letter to resign. He even offered to pay back every penny of his stipend, wanting to owe the British Crown nothing but his defiance.
"The best way to end a government is to withdraw from it."
In that moment, he didn't just quit a job; he sacrificed his personal comfort for our collective freedom. He became the first Indian to walk away from the ICS for his conscience, proving that no salary is worth the price of one's soul.
This wasn't just a resignation. It was the birth of Netaji.

Every time you accepted a salary, chose a price, or walked into a negotiation, the other person was running GAME THEORY in their head.
You were guessing.
This 1-hour Yale lecture by Professor Ben Polak will permanently change how you read people and make decisions.
Most MBAs pay $150k to learn this. Yale posted it for free:
Giant honeybees use a collective defense known as "shimmering" to deter wasps and other predators, whereby hundreds of individual bees flip their abdomens upwards in a coordinated Mexican wave-like pattern.
Kerala women's Kalarippayattu martial arts performance has the audience spellbound. Wielding the Urumi, a flexible, whip-like sword, they showcase a level of focus and body control that takes years to master. From fast-paced footwork to the rhythmic clashing of steel, their performance is a tribute to a 3,000-year-old legacy.
Upanishadic message is Atman=Brahman: inner self of individual is identical with universal reality. Realising this identity dissolves apparent separation between person &cosmos.Manifest world is seen as expression of Brahman; Atman is same reality experienced in the first‑person.
This is the essence of ancient Indian texts; Upanishads the ultimate reality (Brahman) and the individual self (Atman); liberation involves realising their essential unity. #sanatandharm
At 40, Franz Kafka (1883-1924), who never married and had no children, walked through the park in Berlin when he met a girl who was crying because she had lost her favourite doll. She and Kafka searched for the doll unsuccessfully. Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would come back to look for her.
The next day, when they had not yet found the doll, Kafka gave the girl a letter “written” by the doll saying “please don’t cry. I took a trip to see the world. I will write to you about my adventures.”
Thus began a story which continued until the end of Kafka’s life.
During their meetings, Kafka read the letters of the doll carefully written with adventures and conversations that the girl found adorable.
Finally, Kafka brought back the doll (he bought one) that had returned. “It doesn’t look like my doll at all,“ said the girl.
Kafka handed her another letter in which the doll wrote: "my travels have changed me.” the little girl hugged the new doll and brought her happy home.
A year later Kafka died. Many years later, the now-adult girl found a letter inside the doll. In the tiny letter signed by Kafka it was written:
“Everything you love will probably be lost, but in the end, love will return in another way.”

Sabrina Pasterski is a renowned theoretical physicist recognized for her work on quantum gravity, black holes, and celestial holography. Famous for being a child prodigy who built her own plane at 14, she later gained prominence as a top-scoring MIT graduate, Harvard Ph.D., and for her foundational research cited by Stephen Hawking.
Harvard University has suggested that a new Einstein may already be here, referring to Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski, an American theoretical physicist whose unconventional journey has garnered attention from top institutions.
At just 16 years old, she built and flew her own single-engine airplane, documenting the entire process herself. Although initially rejected by MIT, she later gained admission after submitting a video of her completed flight and graduated at the top of her class. Pasterski now focuses her research on quantum gravity and black holes, areas that seek to resolve gaps left by Albert Einstein's theories. Known for avoiding publicity and declining lucrative offers from the industry, she has chosen to work independently, prioritizing pure research.
Her work aims to deepen our understanding of the universe's fundamental structure, and her commitment to knowledge and discovery has made her one of the most promising young physicists today.

Absolutely stunning. Both sides of government can make this a specific tourist attraction.

This is a miniature of a $15M dollar luxury yacht that is made in #beypore Kerala , with 90% of its structure including its hull made of teak wood. Called as uru in malayalam or Dhow, today only two companies remain. A 2000 yr old maritime tradition is slowly fading away. No documented work exist of its engineering. Noone has reverse engineered it. It stays in the mind of few mastercraftsmen. Can it be saved? Will politicians do something to find a market? coming soon on @ndtv@MinOfCultureGoI@shipmin_india
